WORKdae

The skills gap isn't coming. It's here.

AI agents are writing code, managing workflows, and making decisions. Quantum computing is reshaping cybersecurity and finance. Your team is already behind if their last training was on “prompt engineering.”

And you can't close a skills gap with a video library or generic virtual programs.

Video or distance courses will never provide...

In-Person. Small Cohorts. Real Community.

Not a video library. Not self-paced. Not “virtual.” You learn alongside a small cohort of peers with expert instructors in the room. Live in-person sessions, real discussion, immediate feedback. A human you can contact between sessions.

Our students consistently name community and individualized support as the most valuable part of the experience.

Education at the Scale of the Individual Human.

Every other option in this space is a commodity — bootcamps, MOOCs, recorded lectures at scale. We do the opposite. We know your name. We know your role. We design around your actual work challenges.

Because the way professionals actually change behavior is through relationship, not content consumption.

30 years of corporate education experience, delivered through a mission-driven nonprofit.

Built on the work of U of Next and The Center for Leadership Studies (founded by dae’s founder)—we bring three decades of developing individuals and organizations across North America and Europe.

But, dae is a 501(c)(3), meaning that every dollar is accountable to mission first—every WORKdae seat helps fund a scholarship for a CT student in our larger dae campuses.

Program 01

Agentic AI for Working Professionals

What to delegate. What to check. And what to watch for as AI tech evolves.

Ideal for: strategy analysts, marketing directors, ops leaders, project managers, and any professional whose work now intersects with AI tools—whether they asked for it or not.

No coding background required.

6 weekly sessions  ·  3 hours each  ·  $2,500/person  ·  In-person, Stamford & NHV

Match tasks to agent capabilities—what to delegate vs. what needs human judgment
Write prompts that produce usable outputs, not plausible-sounding nonsense
Verify agent outputs without wasting time—spot-check methods and failure patterns

Design workflows combining human and AI agent work without bottlenecks
Recognize when agents go off-track before small errors become big problems
Stay ahead of capability shifts in the next 12–24 months
You leave with: A personal agentic AI toolkit—delegable tasks, verification protocols, and a framework for evaluating new AI capabilities.

Program 02

Quantum Computing for Working Professionals

Navigate complexity. Decide without certainty.

This is not a physics course. It’s an executive decision-making program that uses quantum concepts as powerful mental models for navigating organizational complexity. No math. No coding. No physics background required.

Nothing like this exists in the CT/NY market.

6 weekly sessions  ·  3 hours each  ·  $2,500/person  ·  In-person

Quantum Literacy (Sessions 1–2)

What quantum computing is—and is not
Core concepts introduced conceptually, not mathematically
Plausible timelines for business relevance
Where excitement is warranted—and where it is not

Decision Frameworks (Sessions 3–6)

Entanglement: how decisions ripple across an organization
Observer effects: how KPIs and reviews reshape what they measure
Superposition: holding multiple futures without premature collapse
Decoherence: deciding when to commit as noise degrades clarity
You leave with: A role-relevant quantum glossary, a reusable decision framework, and a path for applying these models directly to your real work.

Learn from practitioners who know your name.

Kay Detome

Director, Learning Studio

Director of Learning Studio at dae, where he leads the design and execution of technology-driven learning programs focused on real-world application. Holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Southern Connecticut State University and brings a background in software engineering, curriculum development, and technical instruction. His work is grounded in the belief that technology, when designed thoughtfully, can expand access, unlock potential, and create meaningful pathways for individuals and communities to thrive.

Kay’s interests focus on applied AI, systems design, software development, and the role of emerging technologies in expanding access and opportunity. Alongside his work at dae, he is building an all-in-one digital platform designed to improve visibility, access, and economic opportunity across Ghana, beginning as a national business directory and evolving into an integrated system where individuals and businesses can connect, operate, and grow within a single ecosystem.

Savannah Marcello

Coordinator, Learning Studio Effectiveness

An Organizational Effectiveness Practitioner with a Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of New Haven, bringing a behavioral science lens to the practical work of systems design and change management. Grounded in the belief that the most effective organizations are designed around the people inside them.

Her work spans the full lifecycle of change — from awareness to actualization. Most recently, she conducted a data-driven utilization audit of a project management platform, measuring actual use patterns against optimized use, then designed the systems, training, documentation, and long-term strategy to make change last. This work is personal to her — Savannah believes that work should be a place where people flourish, and that the systems we build either make that possible or get in the way.

Abhinav Piratla

Senior Educator, Cybersecurity

AI security researcher and cybersecurity educator with a background spanning healthcare security, tech entrepreneurship, and hands-on industry experience at Guardian Life. Co-founded a blockchain e-commerce platform and holds an M.S. in Cybersecurity. Published peer-reviewed research on using AI to protect life-critical medical devices developing original detection frameworks at the intersection of AI and healthcare security.Recognized with both the 2025 Global Recognition Award and the Unstoppable Global Technology Award for leadership in AI-driven security innovation.

Leads cybersecurity training for all programs and brings an applied AI lens to the classroom, helping students understand how autonomous AI systems work, where they're headed, and how to use them responsibly in the real world.

Devanshi Tandel

Senior Educator, AI, Data Science, and Quantum

Consultancy Services and a Master's in Data Science from the University of New Haven. Brings real industry experience into the classroom; supporting high school students and adult career-changers at dae in building practical skills from foundational concepts all the way to production-ready projects. Focuses on machine learning, data engineering, AI, and helping students understand how autonomous AI systems work and how to apply them in the real world.

Currently leading development of dae's Student Project Archiving Platform, a cloud-native system architected to scale from hundreds to tens of thousands of users. Earned IBM's Qiskit Summer School Badge with Excellence; a credential recognizing advanced proficiency in quantum computing fundamentals.
